The model reader will need to install USB driver to work properly, the driver installation directory is located under the Driver Setup folder.

Installation process: 
    The win2000 and above operating systems, please do not connect reader, the installation process, the prompt box will pop up, suggesting that you want to connect "USB CDC Device" device, this time connected reader, click "Confirm" button, identified to the reader in the system after the system cancel the pop-up windows "install new hardware" prompt box, and so after some time, the installation program will automatically complete, and prompt to restart windows, you can restart after normal use to read and write device.
    In the win98/ME operating system, install the driver, the installation is complete, shut down your computer, and then connect reader, and then restart windows, in the system to identify the reader, you can normally use.

Note:
If you are using the operating system is WINDOWS XP SP2, and has already installed the old V1.0 version of the driver, need to follow the following steps to uninstall:
1. Connected reader, in the Device Manager, click the right mouse button inside the right equipment, choose "Uninstall";
2. Unplug the reader, in the control panel inside the Uninstall "9720 Driver" option;
3. Restart the computer;
4. According to the process described above to install a new driver.
